Nice Old Stock specimen of Spanish sphalerite . It weighs about 145 grams or 5.1 ounces or 725 carats . There is two of these old sphalerite pieces I am selling . There is only one old label . The first specimen that sells gets the label .The label states Santander which is where the Aliva Mine is . The province has since been renamed . There is many images taken with lighting above them and some shown backlit as well . There is also some with a ruler for size which is about 2 1/2" by 1" . This could be a specimen and is in great shape or could be used for facet or cab rough . Out of the two pieces available this one has larger  gemmy  or clean sections but more inclusions throughout the rest of the specimen .
